The situation

Plainly

Curtis Bream is the second best ramp guitar player in the world. That is a real thing to be. There are people who would take it. Curtis Bream has it and has had it for thirty-one years and it is his.

The issue is not that Curtis Bream is second. The issue is what Curtis Bream says at dinners.

At a dinner in 2004, Curtis Bream said the words "on any given night." He said them about ramp guitar. He said them in a room with fourteen people in it and one of them was Dale Ovitt, who repeats things.

There has not been a given night. In thirty-one years of nights there has not been one, not once, not close, and the scores are published and anybody can go look at them and Curtis Bream can go look at them, and the thing is, he has.
